粟田女王(ｱﾊﾀﾉｵﾎｷﾐ)の歌一首
月待ちて 家には行かむ 我(ﾜ)が挿(ｻ)せる 赤ら橘(ﾀﾁﾊﾞﾅ) 影に見えつつ
右の件の歌は、左大臣橘卿の宅に在して肆宴きこしめしし時の御歌なり。并せて奏れる歌。

Let’s go to the banquet at moonrise, in the shade of the moon light,
Wearing a hairpin of Tachibana’s red fruit.
A series of poems produced when a banquet was held at the house of the Minister of the Left Tachibana.

粟田女王の歌一首
月の出を待って家に行こう。わが髪に挿した橘の赤い実が(月光の)影に中に見えるようにしながら。
右の一連の歌は、左大臣橘卿の家で、酒宴が催された時の御歌と奏上した歌である。
