秋の田の 穂田の刈(ｶﾘ)ばか か寄り合はば そこもか人の 吾(ﾜ)を言(ｺﾄ)なさむ
草嬢(ｸｻﾉｵﾄﾒ)の歌一首

秋の田の稲刈りの場で寄り添ったら、それを他人は私たちのことを噂の種にするのです。
As I am getting closer to him, harvesting rice, in the autumn paddy field,
People are gossiping about us on such a trifle matter, indeed.
